We Seek To Create Understanding And Debate, And To Promote Reform, Especially In Poorer Countries

Stop The Bleeding
Africa loses approximately US$50 billion annually through Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs). The AU/ECA’s High Level Panel on Illicit Financial Flows report and other studies argue that Africa lost over US$1 trillion through IFFs in the last 50 years – an amount similar to Official Development Assistance in the same period.

African Parliamentarian Network on Illicit Financial Flows and Tax (APNIFFT)
The main aim of this association is to provide a platform for African legislators to undertake sustained advocacy- related dialogue and debate in a simplified manner on Illicit Financial Flows, tax governance and domestic resource mobilization on the African continent which is informed by research and is inclusive of a wide variety of voices, with links to national and regional processes.

Africa Media Training Programme
This is a special programme designed by TJN-A to fill a critical gap, that is, to improve the understanding and reportage of African journalists as well as support them to investigate and adequately report on tax, domestic resource mobilisation, Illicit Financial Flows and the general tax justice agenda and its linkages to the broader structural transformation of African economies. It will also bridge the gulf between journalists and CSOs working on tax and domestic resource mobilisation.

International Tax Justice Academy (ITJA)
International Tax Justice Academy (ITJA) is an annual training that begun in 2014 by Tax Justice Network–Africa (TJN-A), a Pan Africa initiative and a member of the Global Alliance for Tax Justice. Globally, International Tax Justice and associated campaigns are gaining momentum with the issue occupying the agenda of international development discourse. However, there is still a huge knowledge gap particularly in Africa and other parts of the developing world.
